Josh has started racing Quarter Midgets this year. He is a member of the South Jersey Quarter Midget Association and races every week on the Sandstone Speedway track at Atco, NJ.. He attended Novice School in March and April and began racing in the Sr. Novice Class on May 1, 2003.
On June 6, 2003 Josh moved up to the Heavy Honda Class. He started 10th in the heat race and worked his way up through the pack to finish 4th. In the feature he started 4th and started moving up and running strong in the top three. About 2/3 of the way through he started catching a (large) hole on turns 1 and 2 which consistently slowed him down enough that he finished last.
