Trying something new this year: Now you can be a sponsor for the night and put your name or saying on the sail panel of a race car. How many times have you wanted to surprise your wife or child and wish them Happy Birthday or Anniversary or just have your name on a race car. Now you can for just $30 for the night, go to the Sponsorship Page to find out how!

The car is Camaro Super Stock with a small block Chevy and will carry my old number 56. We plan on running a full season at NES and some special shows at EWS.

We've put in our old motor to shake the car down and should have the new motor done soon. The block was prepped by Bitner Automotive.

Capital Motorsports and Bernheisel have been a great help with parts and information. Also Tom Fox Welding here in New Egypt for great deals on tubing and welding supplies and PALMCO in Allentown, NJ. Great sheet metal deals can be found from Don Bigley. Check them out from our links page.

Also a special thanks to Bobby Whitehouse

August & September, 2003

Well between rainouts and a blown transmission, the season ended without us making it back out. We got a chance to help our nephews with their quarter midgets. Looks like next year is going to be fun. Working on sponsors for next year, check back with us during the winter.

July, 2003

Well it's been a hot one, had a lot of problems getting into the features. We finally got the handling problem solved and got some more power out of the motor. We're finally working on the new motor, hope to have that done real soon. Now we just have to stay away from the non drivers, so we can keep from getting wrecked. Broke something in the drive train this week after being wrecked big time in the heat. We'll get that fixed and the body straightened back out and get back out there. Gonna take a couple of weeks off in August, have a yard sale next week and some backed up work to finish and then a camping trip 2 weeks from then.

Got to send congratulations out to my nephew Josh, he started running a quarter midget this year and has been doing great with multiple 2nd and 3rd places and this week got a win. Will have his picture on here soon. Way to go kiddo!! And his older brother Justin is going to start driving next week, we know he's a great mechanic, let's see how he is as a driver.

May - June, 2003

We've been rained out for the last 3 weeks. So we took advantage of it and made some more changes to the car and finished up some projects around the house.

May 17, 2003

Started 12th in the heat race and took it easy for a lap to feel out the changes we made to car. Finished 8th, of course only the top 6 made it into the feature. Ran the consi, started 3rd, was running good, got run into and cut down a tire, ending our night.

May 10, 2003

Skipped this race, had a lot of repairs from the contact with the wall. Made a few changes to the car to try and help the handling.

May 3, 2003

Hit the wall in the consi, made it into the feature through "Points Provisional". Started last in the feature, was gaining a little ground, made a mistake and hit the wall again. Finished 23rd.

April 19, 2003

The track was really heavy and smooth. Finished the heat race with a few hundred pounds of clay on the car, started 4th and finished 6th. Started feature in 17th position and finished 11th.

April 13, 2003

Didn't think we had that good of a night, but we ended up finishing 5th, 1 lap down. Missed the setup in the heat race totally and didn't qualify. Had to run the consi, started 8th and finished 3rd. Started 26th in the feature and just hung on to finish the race. The track was really rough and a lot of cars didn't finish.

Spring 2003

We're making some changes, based on the things we learned at the Legends of the Fall race and are looking forward to a great season.

We're still looking for sponsorship, so if you know of anyone, please send them our way.

10-20-02 Legends of the Fall, New Egypt Speedway

Well we made it, the car ran great. We finished 9th in our heat and knew the car had more. We started 14th in the consi, got up to 5th and felt like we could have got more. One of the cars in front of us spun and someone behind us spun us and left us facing oncoming traffic. We got hit bending the front bumper, but still runable. We ran a couple more laps and started overheating, because of damage to the fan shroud. Even so it was a great night, knowing that all the hard work, we had put in to the car, had paid off.

I want to give a special thanks to my crew, for spending a lot of late nights, over the past week to get the car out and my wife for putting up with me during this time and for doing a quick lettering job. Also, thanks to Grover's Lawn Mower, the Whitehouse's, Roger Grover, Jr., Bitner Automotive, Sirak's Auto Supply, Keith Celmer, George Gareris, Weldon Collier, Carmen Infante, George Idell, and Scotty V. I also want to thank everyone that was cheering for me.
